How Does Bartending at the Black Diamond Lodge Work?
When it comes to planning your dream wedding, every detail counts—from the flowers to the venue, and yes, even the bartenders. A skilled bartender is more than just someone who serves drinks; they are the unsung heroes of your celebration, ensuring that your guests are happy, hydrated, and entertained. A good bartender brings a blend of professionalism, creativity, and charisma to the table, transforming your wedding reception into a memorable experience. Whether it’s crafting signature cocktails that capture the essence of your love story or managing the bar with efficiency and flair, their role is pivotal in elevating your big day.
How do Deposits Work for Black Diamond Lodge Bartending:
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve bartending services. Deposits are fully refundable up until 90 days prior to the event date at which point the deposit is always date transferable.
Services Provided:
30 day call to establish a drink menu and facilitate the ordering and delivery of alcoholic beverages if requested. The purchase and possession of alcoholic beverages will be done by the client in accordance with Colorado state liquor laws.
The Main Bartender for the evening will be responsible for shopping for the non-alcoholic drinks and mixers that are not available from the appointed Liquor Distributor. This is to ensure that the proper amounts and ingredients will be acquired, as fresh as possible. If the client would like to obtain these items themselves, there will be an additional fee. There is not to be any mark up from what is obtained by us for these purposes. These will be added to the final invoice. The remaining items will be the property
of the client to do as they please.On the day of the event, we will arrive 2 hours before the start time of the event to set up and be available to serve beverages from the start time to finish time of the event as well as 1 hour for breakdown and cleaning.
Contracted number of bartenders and bar-backs with proper attitudes and attire for the full length of event. Tools required for mixing drinks will also be provided.
Glassware, bar space, garnishes, mixes, ice, etc are provided by the venue, rental companies or the couple.
Upon termination of the event, we will clean the surrounding space where we were operating and remove their personal garbage and bartending equipment. We are not responsible for cleaning up the event grounds or removing other garbage and recycling receptacles at the venue.
How Does Tipping work at the Black Diamond Lodge?
Tipping by guests is greatly appreciated, however in the case that the client does not want a tip jar set out during the event, an auto gratuity will be added to the final bill at the rate of 15% of event total, per staff member. Also, here is a helpful blog about tipping vendors!
What Happens if We Run out of Materials?
We do our best to obtain the correct quantities of items with the information given. Often, some menu items are more popular than others. We are not responsible for running out of materials needed or obtaining them after the event has started. We will do our best with the resources available.
What is included in the bar?
Every shot glass, champagne flute, and cocktail glass you could ever need. Plus lots of tools for the bartenders like stirrers, shakers, ice, spoons, and pitchers. We also have lots of refrigerator space for your chilled drinks and garnishes. You can find more here.
